Grand News – May Edition

It’s amazing what a little moisture and some heat will do.

The course is greening up nicely. The rain was received well by the course and should only accelerate the greening process. We were blessed with good weather, and a lot of people came out to enjoy the course in April. The course will be even better in May!

#8 Construction

We are happy to announce that the hole 8 construction has been completed. Now the fairway just needs some time to grow and we can get back to playing it from the regular tee. We would like to thank you all for your patience during this growing period of the course.

Fish Fry

Friday, May 29thDinner starts at 5:30 – drink specials from4-7pm.

Cost for a delicious fish dinner is

Perch 4 pieces $11
Perch 6 pieces $13
Haddock 2 pieces $11
Haddock 3 pieces $13

Dinner includes french fries or baked potato, coleslaw, rye bread, and homemade desserts!

 

Dual Pin Weekend! – Friday, May 29th – Sunday, May 31st

Have you ever played big cup golf? If not, the last weekend of May is your chance to give it a try! For three days we will have regular cups and big cups with pins on each green. You choose which you would rather play, or play 9 of big cup and 9 of regular. Should be a ton of fun for all groups who can make it out over the weekend.

Annual Grand View Stroke Play Tournament –July 25th & 26th

More details to come.   Open to the public – 18 holes Saturday & 18 holes on Sunday.  Flights and prizes for all skills and abilities

Fling Golf comes to Grand View

Fling Sticks are available for rent and each rental includes a small bag of range balls so you can get the hang of it. FlingGolf is a great way for friends and family to enjoy the course even if not everyone is a regular golfer. It’s really easy to get the hang of and it’s a blast!
